Diet and Metabolism

Most people turn to diets in attempts to lose those extra kilos. Long term weight control through diet alone is impossible. Diets are short term solutions only and as most people discover, once you stop the diet you put the weight back on.

My simple advice for anyone looking to diet is to never start a diet that you don't want to maintain for the rest of your life.

Follow these quick pointers:
Eat Breakfast! Working out in the morning is the best time to train so why not hit the metabolism with a one two combination. By eating breakfast you really get your metabolism revved up and working all day. It will cut down cravings which are when we are most likely to go for those fatty fast food options.

Instead of eating only 2 or 3 meals a day try eating 4-5 small mini meals spaced 3-4 hours apart.

Your metabolism is like a engine that needs constant topping up and the meals are likes its fuel. Large meals allow the engine to shut down for long periods of time why small frequent meals means that it needs to keep working to process the fuel and thus you keep burning fat.
