Workout World grows its capabilities in the Sunshine State: Capalaba store is open for business

Australians' desire for quality home fitness equipment continues to fuel Workout World's national expansion, with a new Queensland store at 120 Redland Bay Rd Capalaba opening this month.

The 400 square metre fitness equipment specialist franchise is located on Capalaba's busy bulky goods strip on Redland Bay Rd.

This takes the total number of Workout World stores in Queensland to eight.
Workout World will soon bring its expertise in fitness equipment retailing to northern Queenslanders, with the opening of Workout World in Townsville later this year.

Workout World marketing manager Mark Garrahy says Australians' appetite for health and fitness continues to be an encouraging trend for the fitness equipment specialist retailer.

"The fitness equipment retail market is in good shape in 2009. Although some retail communities have suffered during the global financial crisis, Workout World is continuing to report solid sales of fitness equipment, fitness accessories and nutrition products."

"With many Australians battling health concerns such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease, demand for at-home fitness solutions is showing few, if any, signs of abating."

Mark says Australians are better informed about the lifestyle benefits of owning home fitness equipment. "A trend we've seen in recent years is for many customers to convert their garages or family rooms in to home gym rooms."
